"Continuity Emerald Team"

I was lucky enough to be part of the continuity care team for this pregnancy in CAH. Seeing the same midwives at each appointment made a world of difference. I wish every new mum had access to this program.

 I was lucky enough to have Gillian, Sarah, Sarah, Breige and Vicky throughout my appointments, birth and home visits. All listened to my concerns and made me feel safe and reassured. I think it takes a special kind of person to do those jobs and they are definitely in the right careers. 

Dr Nicola was my consultant, she also carried out my caesarean section. She was fantastic along with every single person in the theatre, the surgical nurse Ellen was particularly kind.

I had an emergency section previously and this planned experience was so extremely positive. I am very lucky to be at home with my healthy baby boy and recovering well. I will be forever grateful to each and everyone I mentioned above. Thank you.
