"Giving birth to my beautiful baby!"

About: Maternity care (wards 68, 72 &73) / Labour suite The Princess Royal Maternity Unit / Maternity care (wards 68, 72 &73)

(as the patient),

I spent 6 days at PRMH - Glasgow and wow from the moment I walked in the door on the Thursday to the moment I left on Wednesday the care was outstanding.

I was booked in to be induced, the midwives were so attentive from Jade running me a 10/10 bubble bath with fairy lights to Hannah holding my hand every step of the way towards labour!

The 2 midwifes who helped me in labour Harley and Heather I will forever be grateful to, what a scary thing labour is but not with midwives like them. Nothing was too much or a hassle. The theatre team who done my section the lovely gent in his iron man scrub cap and the doc that caught it all on camera thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I didn’t think a c-section could be so relaxed and reassuring! My little girl was placed in my arms and it was all worth it. From then on to the ward I would hate to leave anyone out as they were all amazing - Jess, Bernie, Jessica, Cara, Ashley, Maureen, Hilda the baby docs both Sarahs and Holly, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the amazing care of us both and my partner you guys are true heroes! I will forever be grateful to you all! Best tea and toast about :)
