I attended for my 12 week scan recently, carried out by Lynne who informed me this was a missed miscarriage and no heart beat. This was absolutely devastating for both me and my husband. Lynne was so caring, kind and explained the next process. She made such a horrible time that wee bit easier.
I then phoned the early pregnancy unit and spoke to Emma. She was so kind and caring over the phone whilst my heart was breaking.
I then attended the early pregnancy unit for an d&c and was introduced to Claire. Claire was so patient, kind and understanding. She kept me so calm when I began to panic about the procedure. I was so upset when Claire’s shift finished. She had looked after me so well.
I was then cared for by Tracey. Tracey again was so patient and kind and managed to make me laugh when I never thought that was possible.
I can’t remember the names of the 2 anaesthetists but massive thanks to them aswell. You both were so calming when I was really panicking and of course Dr Paul.
I can’t thank you all enough for the care you gave to me and my husband on what was the worst time in my life.
I received such a high standard level of care from every single one of you. The unit was so busy but you all took so much time to speak to me and ensure I was okay.
I can’t thank you all enough. I hope you managed to get time to eat the chocolates!
You are all angels in disguise and I hope at one point I will return to have a healthy baby in the future.
