"Memory clinic"

About: Community Services / Rotherham Memory Service

(as a relative),

I attend the clinic with my mother in law.

Every time we attend we are made to feel welcome the nurses are caring and compassionate. I feel listened to and that we are given time to discuss any concerns we have. On the last appointment I discussed about her fidgeting when sat down and asked about fidget muffs. The nurse went above and beyond and actually obtained two for us one for use at her house and one for when she comes to my house

My MIL had her observations and weight taken and a discussion then took place about her medication. I feel she is closely monitored and we are advised of help available to support us The medication is always delivered on time and if there is an issue to find an alternative chemist for us to collect the prescription from

I can’t praise this service enough especially Katherine and the team members who ran the cognitive stimulation therapy group
