I have been going to Dene Barton for physiotherapy for a number of months now and feel compelled to share feedback on how genuinely caring and lovely all of the staff are.
From the moment you enter the reception area, the receptionists acknowledge you politely and warmly. Even if they are already on the phone, they acknowledge that you are there and let you know that they will be with you as soon as possible - this makes such a huge impact. I have come across many receptionists in other healthcare settings that completely ignore you or are just generally so unwelcoming and make you feel like you’re an inconvenience. Every time I have been to Dene Barton I have spoken to different receptionists and every single one is outstandingly lovely - I have also noted how polite and understanding they are when talking on the phone to other patients.
The physiotherapy staff I have seen, Bronwyn and Sharon, have also been unbelievably wonderful. I have previously seen other physios and not had a great experience - essentially making you feel like you are being dramatic or making things up. However, both Bronwyn and Sharon always make such a genuine effort to make sure you feel heard and understood, and also ensure that they have covered and/or answered everything that you want to ask. They both offer such a supportive approach - making sure that they actually understand and listen to the person, rather than focussing only on the ‘problem’.
They are both truly a credit to Dene Barton.
