With being a first time mum at 39 of a 7 week premature baby life from his birth was pretty tough. I lived at the hospital for over 2 weeks whilst my son was in NICU, moving from ward to living accommodation within the hospital. When finally discharged I really didn’t know what to expect with care after leaving the hospital and genuinely it’s been fantastic. Lauren goes out of her way to answer every question or contact the hospital to find out about my son’s further care. At the start when home he didn’t meet the targets he should have and Lauren organised a care meeting at the hospital which gave me so much confidence. I look forward to her visits and the information I gain from her and I feel we are both thriving from her help. Don’t feel I could have gone on this journey without such a caring and helpful health visitor. Todays visit again filled me with so much confidence to find my baby is gaining weight and meeting his targets.
