About: St Joseph's Ward

(as a relative),

My sister was admitted to St Margaret's Hospice (St Joseph Ward), 4 weeks ago. I can hardly believe the great progress she has made. Her appetite has improved greatly and that continues. Her pain relief is extremely well controlled. She is being dealt with by the nurses in such a caring and loving manner, that really makes my sister feel safe. 

I know my sister would want me to thank all the staff; the doctors, nurses, the physiotherapists, the aromatherapist, the meal hostesses, the great chefs, cleaning staff, the volunteers, who all work so wonderfully as a team. 

I feel very secure in the care and loving attention my sister receives. I thank St Margaret's with all my heart, that she has come to such a beautiful place.

I have shared your wonderful story with our staff and particularly those who have been involved in taking excellent care of your sister.

St Margaret of Scotland Hospice is absolutely devoted to our patients, their families, and their loved ones. We are deeply grateful to you for sharing this beautiful story and I must say, we are very pleased that your sister’s care meets the very high standard we strive for.
