My wife gave birth to our second son in the Anderson Delivery suite at Lewisham Hospital. The level of care at every stage of my wife's pregnancy was excellent and could not be faulted.

A special mention should go to our midwife for the delivery, Ruth. She provided an amazing level of support and information from the minute we arrived in the delivery room. She also ensured that we left her care having asked all the questions we needed to and checked up on my wife later in the day after she had delivered our baby, even though we had formally left her care.

After our son was born wife continued to receive the same high standard of care and we could not have been happier.

Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust, Maternity Services strive to deliver quality care to the women who birth within our unit. The Head of Midwifery is really pleased to receive such positive feedback which will be shared with staff. Feedback is very important so that we can build on the good practice and where there are concerns expressed action will be taken to ensure that the service improves and lessons are learned. To learn that the aftercare of both mother and baby continued to be of a high standard is especially welcomed. This feedback is very much appreciated.
