After being diagnosed with Prostrate Cancer I was sent to the Oncology department for 20 radiotherapy sessions. Not knowing what to expect I was pleasantly surprised to receive a very warm reception from the staff and an easy to follow set of instructions. As the treatment progressed the warm reception from staff never altered. I found the very caring reception actually made the attendances progress quickly with the very professional way the staff made sure I was coping well with the treatment. What appeared in first instance to be a long drawn out process progressed effectively and efficiently. Throughout the treatment I felt good with the usual wind a peeing issues, however, I coped being forewarned meant I was forearmed. So all went well and I finished my treatment recently.
