"Child didn't get vaccine"

About: Children and young people / School Age Immunisation Team (SAINT)

(as a parent/guardian),

More likely a problem with school rather than service. My child forgot to go and despite having filled in a consent form for her to have the vaccine, no one prompted her so now she is unvaccinated. Hope to catch up over half term.

Many thanks for your email, unfortunately we are at the mercy of the school in terms of pupils being brought down to us. We also run a close list at the end of a session to highlight any children who haven't been brought down to us and we talk to the school in terms of bringing down any outstanding children however some school logistics mean that this isn't always possible.

We hope to you at one of our walk in catch up sessions during the half term break.

Kind Regards

SAINTs
