Arrived in Trauma via a sojourn in A&E where I was treated for a dislocated hip (4th dislocation in a relatively short space of time). Transferred to Trauma when it was decided that I should get a new hip on the following Monday, meanwhile staying in hospital until the day of the operation.
During that week and after the hip operation, the professional care and consideration I received was exemplary. The level of care was outstanding and consideration provided was felt as truly heart warming.
The outstanding feeling from all members of staff was that they genuinely cared. This feeling enveloped us, the patients, like a comfort blanket which helped us to heal.
Thank all of you, for all your efforts, ranging from the basic cleaning process to the careful provision of meals to the highest level of professional care and expertise.
It is all much appreciated.
