"From the first appointment I felt fully supported"

I first took part in this programme during my first pregnancy, and when I became pregnant with my second child, I knew without a doubt that I wanted to be involved again. I was absolutely delighted to be under the care of Gillian once more — someone who already knew my history and with whom I felt completely comfortable.

From the very first appointment, I felt fully supported. Gillian was always available for advice and reassurance, regularly checking in between appointments and offering help whenever I needed it. Even though I had to give birth at Daisy Hill Hospital, she stayed in touch to see how everything went, which meant so much.

The aftercare I received at home from both Gillian and Sarah was exceptional — truly going above and beyond. I honestly can’t praise this programme enough, or the amazing women who make up Team Emerald. They made such a positive difference to both of my pregnancy experiences, and I’m incredibly grateful.
