About: South West Acute Hospital / Children's ward South West Acute Hospital / Maternity care

(as a parent/guardian),

We received really good care for both me and my little boy when staying in the SWAH. Special mention to Emma our midwife who stayed with me through out the birth and was unbelievably kind and reassuring.

My son was admitted to children’s ward for weight loss on day 3, the service and care there was great. Jenny the ward manager went above and beyond to help us get the correct care and attention.

Dear Alice12346

Congratulations on the birth of your baby son.

Thank you for taking the time to provide care in relation to the care you received in the maternity unit in SWAH.

It is always lovely to hear such positive comments in relation to your experience. I have passed on your lovely words to Emma and also shared with the wider team.

I am sorry to hear that your baby boy had to be admitted to childrens ward but am glad the experience you received there was positive.

I wish you and your family the very best for the future.

Kind Regards

Mairead McKenna
