"My sons experience in MIU"

About: Arbroath Infirmary / Minor Injuries

(as a parent/guardian),

I took my son to be assessed after accident on his bike. He was seen by SCN anne black. Anne was very thorough in her assessment and gave sound advise on management.

My son is 17 but he has underlying health issues and also underlying intellectual disabilities. She was very interactive and engaged with my son throughout. I felt he was treated with empathy and respect. I was also reassured by Anne’s nurturing manner.
A very pleasant experience for all concerned today. What a fantastic team you have. Thank you once again

Dear Dmcf12

Thank you very much for taking the time to complete a Care Opinion regarding your recent visit to the Minor Injuries Unit at Arbroath Infirmary.

I am sorry to hear your son had an accident on his bike but delighted you felt he was given a thorough assessment and treated with empathy and respect during your visit.

Anne is one of our most experiences nurses and I have to agree she has a lovely nurturing manner and always strives to provide sound advise on injury management.

I will ensure Anne and the team in Minor Injuries are made aware of your kind words and wish your son a speedy recovery.

Best Wishes

Rhianne Roberts
