"My regular blood testing team"

I went for a blood test. I am on a course of chemotherapy so I have been having blood tests regularly at Forres Health and Care Centre where I have been looked after by Darren and Lynn.

I was feeling anxious because my treatment has been paused as there is something not right on a scan. Darren and Lynn have always been kind as well as efficient; they felt like a warm dose of calm and reassurance, a moment of steadiness, kindness and normality.

I am always glad to see them - but this time it felt like I could say what I felt and I knew they would get it. They are both lovely. Darren seems also to be able to find veins that no one else even knows exist! 

I am very grateful that they are there and that they are as they are;  I wanted to acknowledge my thanks and record my experience. Thank you.
