I seen colposcopy nurse Ashley in Dunfermline, Fife.
I have suffered for years. These appointments make me feel anxious and scared.
Ashley was wonderful. She listened to my questions and answered them in an understandable way. I Felt in control and informed even before the surgery.
During the surgery Ashley spoke to me about what she was doing and could see. Instead of just silence or uming and ahhhing. I felt like she cared about me a person not just another patient.
After the appointment we discussed the findings and Ashley put me a ease about the future. For the first time is 20 plus years. I left an appointment feeling confident and in control. I now fully understand my condition and the science as to why! I think that this lady deserves a massive thanks.
I quite honestly believe that Ashley is amazing with all of the patients that she sees. She is incredibly passionate about her job. The way she talks to you as a patient is non patronizing and understandable.
I could not be more grateful for her.
"I could not be more grateful"
