"They provided us support and kindness"

About: Community LD Teams - (Armagh & Dungannon)

(as a relative),

I am thankful to the Dungannon Learning Disability team for all the support they provided to my brother in his transfer to  a new care home in England, close to family.

My brother loved his time in the care home in Northern Ireland and we were apprehensive in case he did not settle as well in his new home.

The team, particularly Eimear and Patricia, looked  after him every step of the way during his journey and provided us a lot of support and kindness during an emotional time.  I would not have been able to transfer my brother without their support.

My brother is very happy in his new home and I will be forever grateful for all their help.

Many thanks for taking the time to send in your response and for your kind words. It was a pleasure supporting your brother and happy to hear the transition went smoothly.

We hope your brother continues to enjoy his new home.

I will share your story with the Team.
