Dear Ejaz,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your experience at the Fracture Clinic at Ealing Hospital.

I am very sorry to hear about the long waiting times you’ve consistently experienced over the past two years. I understand how frustrating and inconvenient this can be, especially when attending regular appointments for an ongoing injury.

I have shared your feedback with the team and they have informed me that they now have implemented a rider on the letters to inform patients that there could be a delay of 2 hours for the clinic due to the fact some patients need further care or investigations and this takes time.

Unfortunately, some patients do take far longer to review and treat due to injuries. I have also been informed that the nursing team keeps the patients up to date with the waiting times during the clinic.

If you would like to discuss your concerns further, please contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) at LNWH-tr.PALS@nhs.net.

Wishing you the best in your recovery,

Leanne Fernandes
