"Care and attention"

About: East Community Services / Bodmin & 3 Harbours Cluster Community Nursing Team

(as the patient),

Following an operation early in the year I had a stomach peg fitted before returning home.

Quickly received a visit from district nurse who spent time explaining all the intricate details for using, cleaning and caring for the peg in a way that helped me feel more comfortable and assuring me of the regular visits I would have whilst the peg was in place.

Early in October the peg was removed…all good.

For me this message is to ensure management know they have fabulous staff. I will not mention individuals as they were all wonderfully caring. Always smiling always - Do you have any questions? Nothing too much trouble.

When I called in to the office for bits and pieces again no problems and to top it all I was late getting home for an Saturday appointment…could have expected a request to call the office and rearrange please but no..it was okay we have other appointments but will call you later which they did and came back to my house…smiley faces….unbelievable.

I thank you and your incredible team for your excellent care.
