"Fantastic visit at home after Mum had a fall"

About: Urgent Community Response / Mid Notts Urgent Community Response Team

(as a relative),

Mom fell and fractured her wrist, hurt her knee and cut her head above her eye. A night in A&E later, the nurses visited on the morning of the following day.

Her cut had reopened and the dressing needed changing, so we were trying to decide what to do. The response team changed the dressing, checked that she had everything, gave us advice on pain relief and really put her mind at ease.

They were fantastic, so calm and friendly and exactly what she needed. They ran through all of her options and didn’t rush her, even though they must have had a full schedule.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback.

We’re really pleased to hear that the team was able to support your mum in such a calm and reassuring way during a difficult time. Your kind words mean a lot and will be shared with the team — it’s always encouraging to hear the positive impact their care has made.
