"Nothing was too much trouble"

About: North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I was admitted to Cramlington hospital after collapsing at work with pain associated with fibroids and endometriosis that was diagnosed 2 years ago. I live in Sunderland so was accessing a different healthcare authority in Cramlington. The care I received from the paramedic crew to the emergency gynaecology team was incredible. They were caring, sympathetic, friendly and made an initially scary experience much more bearable. The wait times were also very good and the staff made sure my pain was under control, nothing was too much trouble. An excellent example of the NHS at its best, thank you!
