"Myosure procedure with extra banter"

I recently had a myosure procedure at Stobhill, Glasgow, and had a really optimal experience with the team working with me that day.

Dr Simpson was efficient, explained everything clearly and made me feel like I had agency at all times. 

I want to particularly thank all three nurses who were in the room because they put me at ease and were generally hilarious, kind and made me feel seen, heard and more relaxed.

I was not looking forward to the procedure at all, but it was really quick, some discomfort but the chatter took my mind off what was happening and took my stress levels right down. 

I have been trying to get a Mirena coil appointment in Glasgow for months (it’s pretty impossible), but on mentioning it to Dr Simpson, she advised me we had time to fit one in that same appointment. Honestly I was delighted.

Completely great appointment with great care, skill and clarity. Thank you. I gave them verbal feedback but I want all four folk to know what a difference they made to me that day.
