(as a relative),

My husband received hip resurfacing surgery at IRH under the care of Mr.Chappell. 

From admission, to theatre & ward care & discharge he was treated by amazing staff. Also included in these thanks are the brilliant domestic & portering teams whom are an integral part of the NHS and are often overlooked. 

The team of nursing staff in K - North went above and beyond to care for my husband. He had been lucky enough never to have been in hospital since he was a child and was naturally apprehensive about the entire process. Everything went to plan and he was only in the ward for 2 nights. The professionalism, kindness and care provided was exemplary and he was grateful for their attentiveness & patience.
