My husband was sent to Victoria hospital with suspected sepsis.
Due to a public holiday the previous day, it was so busy.
There was a 6 hour wait.
My husband was very ill.
A young girl called Millie (nurse) saw him, checked his temperature, saw the shivering fits he was having, and rushed to get a doctor .
Everyone within a few minutes was around him .
Nurses, doctors.
They quickly dealt with him, Millie saved his life with her quick response and observation.
Lisa was also great, helping get him into bed and put up all the cannulas . Dr Hamesh was brilliant.
He was admitted to ward 23, where Stuart during the days and Lorraine during the nights took great care of him.
We are so grateful to all at Au1 and ward 23 for their efforts and care .
It was sepsis but he is on the mend and at home now.
Thank you to you all, plus to receptionist Amy who booked the appointment and Dr Campbell who sent him to hospital so promptly.
NHS, we salute you all .
Thank you .
