"Gentle, reassuring, and professional"

I recently visited the clinic for a coil removal and smear as part of my breast cancer treatment. From the moment I arrived, I felt cared for. The reception team were busy on the phones, but another lady kindly came over to help me — which I really appreciated.

Nurse Jo then came to get me and apologised for being a little late. She was calm, caring, and genuinely lovely. She took the time to explain what was going to happen, made me feel completely at ease, and even managed to make me laugh. Throughout the whole appointment, she was gentle, reassuring, and professional.

It’s not an easy procedure to go through, especially after recent treatment, but Jo’s kindness and approach made all the difference. I left feeling relaxed and very grateful. Thank you so much, Jo, for your compassion and care — you’re a real credit to the team.
