About: Wrexham Maelor Hospital

(as a service user),

Almost no-one listens to the patient. They seem unaware that eye problems have people attached to them, and those people have feelings.  

The staff are clearly overworked and under a lot of stress, and the physical environment is awful - I woudn't want to work there. So I do feel for the staff - even though most of them don't even see me (as a person), never mind feel for me. 

Perhaps closing it down would be a good idea, then no-one else would be put through the hell I have been put through, trying to make sense of the muttered words which the doctors occasionally utter, in between staring silently into their machines and computer screens.
