About: Downe Hospital / Day Procedure Unit

(as the patient),

I attended the Downe Hospital Day Procedure Unit yesterday for an investigative procedure.

From the moment I arrived at reception until I left following my procedure, I was greatly impressed by the level of care I received. Every one of the nursing staff, without exception, demonstrated a caring, sympathetic and highly professional approach. Throughout my visit I was kept fully informed as to what was happening at every stage of the procedure.

The attitude and supportive nature of the nurses made my attendance much less stressful than it might overwise have been. My sincere thanks to them all.

We are very proud of our services here in Downe Day procedure Unit and as Manager I am very proud of my teams. They demonstrate daily a high level of care and will be delighted to receive this thanks and lovely compliment. You identified specifically from the moment you arrived at reception until you were discharged you received a 'sympathetic, caring and professional' approach. This is wonderful to hear. I will share this with all staff.

I trust you are recovering well from your procedure and I wish you all the best for the future.
