About: North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust / Emergency ambulance Royal Liverpool University Hospital / Accident and emergency Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency Victoria Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

I took ill on holiday in Liverpool, the care I received from paramedics and all hospital staff was good, they stabilised me so I was able to travel home to Fife, where I presented at A&E, as I had the discharge letter from Liverpool with all the details I was able to fast track from A&E to admissions, then the ward, I was in for five nights and released the day after my gallbladder surgery. The care I had in the Victoria Hospital was excellent with all staff and procedures very slick and professional, I can’t thank everyone enough

Many thanks for taking the time to provide feedback throughout your patient journey I am pleased to hear that the process was well organised and professional and you were directed quickly from the emergency department to the correct area for your care

I hope you are recovering well at home I will pass on your feedback to staff involved within your care in the ED.

Kind regards
