"Polite and courteous"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Chloe (receptionist at a very busy A&E department in Hairmyres Hospital) was polite and courteous to all who attended. Some of the public who attended were rude - possibly as a result of the reason for them attending the hospital -  however Chloe treated everyone calmly, politely and with dignity and respect. For one so young she demonstrated a maturity which should be admired.

Dear A.K.,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at University Hospital Hairmyres.

It’s lovely to hear that Chloe, our receptionist in A&E, was polite and courteous to all who attended. Our teams strive to uphold professionalism at all times, and it’s always encouraging to hear when this is reflected in patient interactions.

I will ensure your kind words are passed on to Chloe—she will be delighted to receive such positive feedback.

Warm regards

Shirley-anne
