I had a 2 week appointment in a mere 7 days for a suspected cancerous mole on my face.
I was seen at the appointed time, the mole was examined closely and thoroughly by Doctor Willcock, who diagnosed a non cancerous seborrheic keratosis.
The whole appointment, examination and procedure was carried out within ten minutes by the cheerful doctor who also examined two other small benign facial moles and reassured me there was nothing to worry about.
I was offered and accepted cryotherapy to remove the mole. The procedure was painless, after which he asked, with a smile, are we still friends? Yes, of course, I replied!
I left the clinic being totally reassured and grateful for the excellent service provided by all the staff involved in my care at at Nightingale Exeter, and Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital Oncology department during the past nine months. Well done NHS!
"Excellent service provided by all the staff"
