We had amazing care for the birth of our first son.

The midwives working on the pregnancy assessment unit a night in mid Sep 25 were fantastic, able to answer any questions and provided reassurance.

We returned to hospital early hours next day and our baby boy was born very shortly after.

We had exceptional care from a midwife and student midwife throughout labour. Once our baby was born we were moved to ward 16. Once again the care was fantastic from all members of staff (domestics, healthcares and midwives). We stayed in for two nights to get support with breastfeeding and this was so beneficial for myself, baby and husband.

We will be forever grateful to the staff at NSECH for such an amazing and positive birth experience.
