"One of the most transformative experiences of my life"

Where do I start?! - I Guess the beginning. 

Over the past 5 years I allowed my mental health get the better of me, but instead of breaking down and understanding the feelings I chose alcohol and it almost ruined my life. 

I can now happily say I'm 7 days sober and counting. This I owe to Dame Carol, Fareham. I can genuinely say it has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported, safe, and truly cared for by the entire staff. 

The facility itself was clean, comfortable, and peaceful - the ideal environment for healing and reflection. What really stood out to me was the professionalism and compassion of the medical and support team. They were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly patient and empathetic, which made all the difference during such a vulnerable time. 

The detox process was handled with the upmost care, and I felt monitored and supported every step of the way. The personalised care plan, along with group sessions, meditation, and wellness activities, helped me to understand the root of my struggles and has given me hope for long-term recovery. 

I'm leaving not just detoxed, but mentally clearer, more motivated, and full of gratitude. I would highly recommend Dame Carol to anyone seeking a safe and supportive place to begin their recovery. 

This place has given me a second chance, and I'll forever be grateful.
