"It really did help"

About: Allied Health Professionals / Physiotherapy Outpatients Services / MSK Physiotherapy Outpatients

(as a service user),

How I ended up in the physio department was because of a sport related injury and after undergoing surgery I was later informed that I would be attending physio at the royal.

At first I was skeptical because it wasn’t the type of physio I was used to but once the physician discovered that I was a rugby player they soon adapted workouts and routines into my daily life to help and it really did help as I was able to work back all the muscle and strength that was lost due to not being active for a few weeks away from the gym

Dear Livaignae538

Thank you so much for posting this excellent feedback on the physiotherapy care you received at RVH MSK Outpatients. I am delighted that your clinician was able to help you make a good recovery post surgery.

We have a great, skilled MSK T+O Team throughout the BHSCT and knowing that you benefited from their care makes me feel very proud.

I will ensure that they and our Senior management Team are made aware of your compliment.

Dear Livaignae538,

Thank you sincerely for your kind words. It has been a privilege to support you throughout your recovery journey, and I’m genuinely delighted to see the remarkable progress you’ve made. Your unwavering commitment and resilience have been instrumental in your success.

The dedication you’ve shown over the past two years—especially in your rehabilitation and determination to return to sport following such a significant injury—has been nothing short of exceptional. I will be sure to pass on your thanks to Emma Crawford and the entire Trauma & Orthopaedics team, who are all incredibly proud of what you’ve achieved.

We wish you continued success in your recovery and beyond. May your comeback be strong and your tackles solid—you truly are an inspiration.

Warm regards,
Louis O'Connor
