I have been attending Coatbridge health centre treatment room on a regular basis recently to have blood tests due to low haemoglobin levels, and cannot praise all the phlebotomists working there highly enough.
In particular a nurse called Bella for her professionalism and compassion above and beyond when taking my blood recently - she noticed how ill I looked and made sure I had someone (my wife) with me to escort me home and keep an eye on me.
Her concerns were justified as the next day I ended up in hospital needing a blood transfusion.
Thanks a lot Bella for all your care and kindness. In these days when everyone seems to be criticising the NHS it is heartening to experience a great service like this run by dedicated and caring staff.
Keep up the good work ladies!
