"Teamwork makes the dream work"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Blood vessel problems ( Vascular Ward 11a &11d) Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Ear, Nose & Throat (Ward 11b)

(as a service user),

Lovely staff all round, well cared for. Thank you. Started off in 11B. Only  comment was my door was always closed, never open felt shut away. Didn't ask as was unwell. 'What matters to me' board was also not completed.

11A door always open and asked if I wanted open or closed. 'What matters to me' filled in as soon as I arrived. Charge nurse Carla found time to talk. Lindsay HCA  went over and above which mattered as someone took time for me. Mikala: done my wonderful discharge. Franklin: so loved his calling voice. Blessim: loved her name. Thank you to all the doctors. Teamwork  makes the dream work (cannulation doctors). Last but not least the bedtime toast , best smell and taste there is when you're recovering. Thank you.

Dear The sick phleb

Thank you for taking the time to send in the lovely feedback regarding your experience in Ward 11A. It’s is especially nice that you have acknowledged individual staff members and heartwarming to know that they have clearly had an impact on your care during your stay.

On a personal note I fully agree with the smell of the toast being the best!!

Wishing you well for your onward recovery,

Kind regards,

Debbie Macintyre
