"Helping me keep my job"

I have been getting support from the Newark and Sherwood LMHT for a long time, Dr Innes has been really helpful to me and so has the duty team when I have been feeling really bad. I have also been getting support from the employment team, Ayshea, for a few months because my depression was so bad that I had to be off sick from work.

Ayshea has done a grand job of keeping in touch with me on a regular basis and understands that I can’t always answer my phone because I live somewhere with really poor signal! Ayshea has done an excellent job of helping me to understand things better, because things get too much for me and I forget things.

She has helped me make work more aware of my health conditions and understand how important it is for them to support me, and how they can do this. I am now back at work and some changes have been made to help me, which has helped my mental health.

I am getting discharged from employment help and I'm going to carry on doing my job for a while, but I am going to ask Ayshea to help me find a new job in a few months because I want a job to help other people who suffer with mental health.
