I attended Occupational therapy group sessions organised by the ADHD services East ren team. I've been diagnosed with ADHD for 6+ years, but had never understood the impact ADHD had on me. For the first time it felt like i had some explanations of why i have certain behaviours, and what triggers me, etc. This has been eye opening and like someone gave me a manual for my life!
It helped me manage my sensory profile, leveraging the strengths from ADHD and also learn from other people in the group.
This was really well structured with a good balance of teaching, discussing and sharing.
The provided material provides good templates to work on the points covered in a way specific to me.
