Hi π hope alls braw n youβre havin an ace start to the week π
So, Iβm about to be back for my six monthly check up and I realise that Iβve not told you of my last visit!
Was a biggie too, a deep pocket clean. I was told it can be a big job, usually done in two stages and involves getting numbed up! π±
On arrival, I was greeted by our man with the foldie glassies, made welcome and reassured that everything would be hunky dory.
The lovely ladies at reception checked me in and within a few minutes I was called.
Bright young student greeted me and already had her name, mine and a whole load of letters and numbers on the white board.
These correlated with my teeth and indicated which ones needed what doing.
Whilst during all this being explained to me, I got wind of the fact that some people manage to get this procedure done without the needle and getting numbed up.
I chose this option, even after it was explained that this is not the norm, but I could stop and change my mind at any point.
Our man came back in and explained everything again making sure I was sure and reassured me I could stop at any point if I changed my mind.
So I settled back and the young student got started.
After a few seconds, she stops n asks if Iβm okβ¦. ππ
she carryβs on and stops again.
ok? ππ
I heard our man stick his head through the door a couple times and whisper - is he ok? π
The stops got less frequent and the young student got on with it πͺ now asking me if Iβm ok after each tooth.
Long story short, she did my whole mouth in two back to back appointments and I cannot thank her enough for all the care, compassion and effort it took to do that πͺ
Once again they were all absolutely brilliant and thank you so very much for looking after my teeth for me ππ
Gratitude π
