"My daughter's injury"

About: Tasburgh Lodge Surgery

(as a parent/guardian),

My teenage daughter is a patient at this surgery and, following an ongoing ankle injury, was referred to the physio (7 weeks after the original injury) based at the surgery.

She was sent for a second x-ray by the physio and over two weeks later has still to receive any contact from the surgery regarding the outcome of the x-ray or recommendations for further treatment.

My daughter rang the surgery, only to be told that her x-ray was being reviewed. I find it pretty appalling that over two weeks after the x-ray it is still being reviewed and that she is having to chase her results.

Meanwhile her injury continues to cause her issues and prevents her from playing the sport she loves. She is completing the exercises the physio gave her at the initial consultation, but without knowing the extent of any damage. I think the service from the surgery has been very poor in this case.
