"Treated with so much respect and care"

About: Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick children / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

My son had a trip to a+e with some unexpected bleeding, we were triaged straight away then put into a cubical. Within minutes we had nurses, doctors and consultants in and out explaining what was happening, procedures they were taking and what the outcome may/will be. My son was treated with so much respect and care which made him feel totally as ease.

Every member of staff that dealt with my son that night were second to none, they were amazing. We appreciate so much how quickly he was dealt with within minutes of arrival. Any questions or concerns we had they were happy to answer to the best of their ability.

Thank you so much to everyone who cared for my son that night, we really are so thankful ❤️

My name is Sinead Duffin and I am the Service Manager for ED in RBHSC. I would like to thank you for taking the time to post your experience when attending ED with your son as I can appreciate that this was a very anxious time for you all. I will ensure that this is shared with the staff and I know that they will be delighted to hear that you were reassured with the timely compassionate care they provided. I hope that your son continues to recover well.
