I felt intimidated and belittled by the nurse’s demeanour. Rather than being met with the compassion and professionalism I expected, I was made to feel uncomfortable and dismissed. The nurse's tone and attitude left me feeling small and unsupported at a time when I was already feeling vulnerable.
I am crying and physically shaken up and asked to leave the building with no resolution or help to problem.
I fully understand that healthcare professionals work in high-pressure environments, but I believe patients deserve to be treated with respect, empathy, and dignity—none of which I felt were afforded to me during this interaction.
This experience has not only caused me significant distress, but it has also made me hesitant about seeking further care. I am raising this complaint in the hope that it will be taken seriously and used as an opportunity for reflection and improvement, so no one else has to feel the way I did.
