I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed with the NHS service. My GP is the Allendale Road Surgery and I’ve been feeling very unwell with severe chest pain, a high fever, and a bad cough, yet I haven’t been able to get an appointment with a doctor. It’s shocking that even with these serious symptoms, I was told that they cannot provide face to face appointments.
This situation is unacceptable. When someone is struggling to breathe properly, has chest pain, and feels weak with a high temperature, they should be treated as a priority — not left to wait and worry. I understand that the NHS is under strain, but it feels like there’s no real system in place to help patients who are genuinely in distress.
People shouldn’t have to beg for care or be made to feel like a burden when they’re this unwell. The lack of access to medical help in urgent situations is deeply concerning and needs to change.
