About: Sidwell Street Clinic / Exeter Sexual Health

When entering the practice the members of staff at both receptions I came to were quite rude. The first was sat with an attitude with their headphones in and was very interruptive, and the second was too busy on their phone to notice I was there and even their colleague struggled to get their attention.

However, where the actual appointment is involved, the doctors were amazing. They were easy to talk to and made me feel relaxed throughout the whole procedure. I would highly recommend coming here, it’s just a shame about the staff I initially encountered.

We sincerely apologise for the negative experience you had with our reception staff. This is not the standard of service we strive to provide and we understand how frustrating it must have felt to be overlooked when attending our service. Please be assured that we take your comments seriously and will address this matter with our team to improve the welcoming atmosphere and ensure all staff remain attentive and professional at all times.

We were pleased that once in clinic, your experience of the team was a very positive one & the Doctors you saw during your appointment were amazing, easy to talk to and helped you feel relaxed throughout.

We do hope that your initial experience when accessing the service hasn’t deterred you from visiting us again in the future and we’re pleased that you would still recommend our service to others.
