"Thanks to the staff"

I had a call with my doctor in the morning. She then referred me to hospital to have an X-ray. Enniskillen Hospital is fantastic - the building is new and gorgeous, there is plenty of space, it is really well laid out, the signage is excellent, and everyone is so happy and helpful.

I gave my name at the X-ray reception and the lady who took my details was super friendly and efficient. She knew exactly what I was there for, which is excellent considering it was about only about 20 minutes since my call with the doctor had ended. She told me where to sit and wait, and I sat down. However, I did not need to wait as I was called almost immediately by such a lovely Radiographer. She was friendly, helpful and patient. She explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions. I was struggling after the X-ray and she was absolutely fantastic. She was genuinely concerned for me and offered me a seat and a drink of water; there was no rush and she was so reassuring and caring. She really listened to me, and showed empathy and kindness.

The speed with which I was registered and had my X-ray has to be highlighted and praised. The efficiency of the X-ray department is exceptional, and for me on that day it was hugely appreciated.

I wish to emphasise the way I was treated by the two ladies that I saw as it was just fantastic. I especially wish to thank the Radiologist as she went above and beyond her duties, and I thoroughly appreciate and thank her for this.

Everyone at the Enniskillen Hospital does such wonderful work, and I feel they do not receive the appreciation they deserve. It takes a very special kind of person to do what they do, and I feel they should be acknowledged and thanked more.
