Perinatal Mental Health

About: Adult Mental Health and Learning Disabilities / Perinatal Mental Health Team

(as a service user),

I had a midwife from the perinatal mental health team assigned to me during my pregnancy and a few weeks after the birth. The care I received was absolutely amazing and helped me immeasurably. I benefited greatly from having the extra support as I felt that the baseline service provided through the NHS would have not met my additional mental health issues.
