"So kind and caring"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as the patient),

I would like to Thank Two Vale of Leven depot paramedic from Scottish Ambulance Service.

I have diabetes and was shown signs of DKA . After a lot of communication with call handlers. Callum & Karen  came to take me to RAH. I was far from well felt so sick. The two of them started my care. I required bloods done and keytones taken. No test kit on ambulance to do that . My own test kit was used. I just wish to thank these lovely people so kind caring.

It was the worse time for me.

Thanks lindsay925 for getting in touch to provide such thoughtful feedback for Callum & Karen especially when you have been such an ordeal. It means a great deal to our staff to receive such kind words from those they have helped.

If you’d like us to get this message to them directly, we’d need a few more details such as the name, date, time and address of the call out sent to sas.feedback@nhs.scot so we can match it with the information in our system. Please also include your Care Opinion username so we can share your story with the crew.

Thanks again for your kind words and wishing you the best in your recovery!

Warm wishes,
Marie
