Over the course of this year, I have had regular, online appointments with Katie at this service. Firstly, having my appointments online, through video call, was extremely accessible. Having long covid means I am not always fit enough to attend appointments in person. I could attend my appointments from my bed, whilst still receiving access to the service. Katie was always very professional, helpful, supportive and knowledgeable. I went from being unacceptable of my condition, to acceptance, and a clearer understanding of it. Katie helped me understand and accept my condition. Giving me knowledge and skills, to live with the symptoms, and accept my limitations. Katie is not only professional, she is caring, empathetic, cheerful and displays a real passion for her job. She is a valuable asset to this team. Allowing this service to be extremely valuable to long covid patients. I cannot thank Katie enough, for all she has done for me.
