"I felt very confident in their care"

About: Emergency Medicine / Minor Injuries Unit

(as the patient),

I hurt my ankle, I was in terrible pain when I was admitted to A&E.  I was seen from nurse Africa, who assessed me then sent me for an x-Ray. Again, I wasn’t long there either. I came back to Wayne, and Africa explained I had a sprain. Wayne put a splint on for me and explained it all very clearly about the care I must adhere to now and the aftercare.  I also have exercises to do . I cannot praise both Africa and Wayne enough, I felt very confident in Africa and Wayne’s care.

Dear rona723

I am sorry to hear that you hurt your ankle, but glad that you were assessed, x-rayed and treated quickly and efficiently. It sounds like you were given good advice on how to care for your sprain and the splint will support your ankle. Both Aifric and Wayne will be delighted that you felt conficence in their care and advice you were given. Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback. It is appreciated.

Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Kind regards

Jill
