About: Physical Disability Services / Sensory Support Teams

(as a service user),

I was referred to Sensory Support approx. two years ago when diagnosed with macular degeneration, and within a short time was contacted by Amanda from that organisation.

Amanda arranged to see me at home to access my needs and was very willing to offer help and advice, along with providing extra lighting for reading and making meals etc.

I also have Crohns Disease, and Amanda has been particularly helpful in suggesting, and trying out various extra lighting in my bathroom for dealing with my ileostomy/stoma.

I am very grateful for all the help and support I have received from Amanda through the Sensory Support organisation. Thank you.
