At around 4am, my husband had to phone for an ambulance as I couldn’t get out of bed. I was immediately taken into hospital with a temperature of over 40 degrees.
The staff in A&E were really good. I eventually was taken to ward 54 and all the staff were brilliant. When I saw the doctor on the Friday he said I had sepsis and I got a shock at that. I'm not a lover of hospitals but my stay there was good.
I got out on the Monday late afternoon. Big shout out to Staff Nurse Dean who made me laugh, and thanks to ward 54 I’m still here.
